Cookie Jar Fundraiser

A year ago, our founders met in a university classroom, with a vision to partner our unrelenting passion for supporting youth with meaningful action. We have put in hours of work, months of research, money, and so much love to this organization. Never in our wildest dreams did we think that we would be:

✨facilitating in 10 schools
✨conducting over 50 workshops
✨working with over 600 students

These figures keep growing and we hope to continue our work and make the content accessible to as many students as possible. As a small non-profit organization, we mainly work in silence. At times we fill in the shortage of resources from our own pockets because of our unwavering dedication to the Glow Within movement. We are humbled and extremely grateful when they talk about how our programs have brought a meaningful change in their lives. In collaboration with the incredibly talented and supportive @ashneys_kitchen_stories, we have created cookie jars for you to enjoy with your family, friends, or as a form of self-care. It’s a great opportunity to do a fun activity with a tasty outcome. All proceeds go directly to our workshops and expansion goals to reach more students. Here’s to growing and glowing, thank you so much for your support!

Small Jars

Now to the cookie jar mix you will need to add a few ingredients to bake a fresh batch of cookies:

1 large egg

½ cup unsalted butter softened at room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Start by adding the butter, egg and vanilla into the mixing bowl and mix until smooth

2. If you are using a mixer, turn it down to medium speed and slowly add the ingredients from the jar to your mixing bowl with the wet ingredients. Keep mixing until it starts to form cookie batter consistency.

3. Use a cookie scoop to add cookie dough to your prepared cookie sheet (either w/ parchment paper or a greased baking sheet)

4. Place onto a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes or until they turn golden brown. (You can also chill the dough but please keep in mind that they will take longer to bake)
